Woven after a fresco done around 1330 by Simone Martini in the Palazzo Publico in Siena, this tapestry represents Captain Guido Riccio da Fogliano after his victory over the castles of Montemassi and Sassoforte.

Condottiere is available in 2 sizes for you to choose from. The colors stand out brightly from the background giving this tapestry a strong presence. It's a wonderful piece for over your fireplace.
