This tapestry is woven after the "Très riches Heures du Duc de Berry" (1413-1416), which is one of the most famous books of miniatures in the Middle Ages, by the hand of the brothers Pol, Herman and Jan of limburg, who lived and worked in the same area as the Flemish painters Van Eyckl.
